Country Cupboard: A Heartwarming Taste of Homestyle Dining in Madisonville

Didn't have time to take pics. I reserved the banquet room for my husbands surprise birthday party. From the first phone call to reserve, to the very last guest leaving, the staff was friendly and super helpful. The food on the buffet was enjoyed by young and old at the gathering, which was approximately 45 people. The only place to eat in Madisonville for home cooked meals. Highly recommend!!!

Great food and service. Very good homestyle cooking and waiters/waitresses are very patient she kind. Can always expect good food and good atmosphere. Love the way they mingle with senior citizens

This is a great country cooking buffet. Very good selection of meats and vegetables. Locally family business that has served the area for many years. Dessert selection is also a huge attraction, don't miss the homemade peach cobbler and chocolate eclair. Their take-out business is huge as is catering!!

Good place for families. The buffet is good, honest, country cooking. I don't usually eat large helpings, so ordering a "meat and 2" is much more economical for me. They allow you to make one trip to the buffet to get your meat, bread, and 2or 3 veggies. I really love the chicken-fried pork chops.

Great family restaurant. All you can eat country style buffet. The food is hot and fresh with a large selection. The staff is fantastic. We live in Lexington and stop by when we are in the area.

This is like eating in your Southern grandma's kitchen with passed down recipes of yesteryear. We drove a little ways to eat their lunch buffet, but when I saw the Yelp photos, I had to have me some. Coworker G and I are very glad it's not closer to work, we'd have to start our own scheduled nap time and auto email response per visit. The buffet was aplenty. It started with a salad bar, which I skipped over. It jumped right into fried chicken, juicy meatloaf, sausages, and chicken. Then sides of green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, pickled beets, corn bread, rolls, and I'm sure I'm missing a bunch more. The dessert selection is incredible! There was banana pudding, peanut butter cup pie, meringues, graham cracker eclairs in the mini fridge, & again I'm probably missing a bunch more. Everything was sooo good & everyone was very sweet too. I'd definitely go back.
